No. The Xplore Outdoors Electric Suction Cap uses an integrated electric suction system that creates vacuum pressure at the push of a button. No manual pumping is required.

The device continuously monitors internal suction pressure while in use. If pressure drops below 70%, it will automatically reactivate the suction system and restore pressure back to 100%, helping maintain a secure hold.

For maximum holding strength, the suction cap performs best on clean, flat and smooth non-porous surfaces. It can also be used on lightly textured surfaces with texture depths up to approximately 2mm, although holding capacity may vary depending on the surface.

The suction cap features five integrated mounting points, including one M8 female mounting point and four M6 female mounting points. It also includes both M8 and M6 hooks for hanging gear straight out of the box.

The Xplore Outdoors Electric Suction Cap is designed to work with a growing range of accessories.

But you don't have to wait for us to create the perfect accessory for your application. Simply download the template and adapt your own gear to fit the suction cap. Align the template, drill the required holes and secure your gear using standard M6 or M8 hardware.

The Xplore Outdoors Electric Suction Cap features an IP56 water-resistant rating. This means it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand powerful water spray from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor and exposed camping environments. It should not be submerged in water.
